Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. 15 July has been declared as Day of Democracy and Freedoms in Turkey, local newspaper Milliyet cited the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as saying on Sept. 29.
“The National Security Council gave recommendation to the government in this regard. Every year 15 July will be marked as day of remembrance of our martyrs and gazis. In this regard, that day will be a non-working day," said the president.
