Baku-APA. Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar defended on Tuesday his cabinet's good performance in last three months, saying that the government has successfully secured political stability through political dialogue since taking office, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The stability of politics and the realization of more social dialogues has helped raise trust in Slovenia and restore the country's reputation abroad, and deserved to be the cabinet's key achievement, Cerar told reporters.

In addition to measures taken to address the grey economy, Cerar also noted that the government is continuing with the privatization process which was adopted by the previous parliament.

Following the government's effort to regain credibility and to introduce a sustainable financial system, "a serious breakthrough for the better will be seen next year," said the cabinet leader.

Contrary to Cerar's remarks, some political parties, especially the oppositions in the country, are critical of the government performance in the first 100 days.

The opposition United Left criticized Cerar for having new faces but no new policies. Sharing that viewpoint, opposition New Slovenia urged Cerar's government to go beyond words and tackle serious reforms.

In its strongest criticism, the opposition Democrats used the words "idleness, false pretending and lies" to describe the government's work in the first 100 days.

Meanwhile, Social Democrats said that it is not fair for the government to be given either an A, or E (failure) at this time. The new team needs some more time, hopefully a B grade will be possible after 150 days.
