Baku. Rufat Ahmadzadeh – APA. The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will travel to Turkey on Thursday 9 October and Friday 10 October 2014, APA reports quoting NATO’s official website.
In Ankara, Mr. Stoltenberg will meet the President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ahmet DavutoÄŸlu, the Foreign Minister, Mr. Mevlüt ÇavuÅŸoÄŸlu and the Defense Minister, Mr. Ä°smet Yılmaz. Mr. Stoltenberg will also meet the Chief of General Staff, General Necdet Åzel.
NATO Secretary General and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet the press at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 10:30 by the local time.
The situation on the Syrian-Turkish border, Islamic State’s advancing on the border with Turkey and other issues will be discussed at the meetings to be held in Ankara.
