David Cameroon: Sanctions wonâ€™t be lifted unless Russia changes its policy toward Ukraine

Sanctions on Russia will not be lifted unless Mr Putin's "behavior changes,” he said.

Cameron said the UK will welcome the Minsk agreement if the aim of this document is fulfilled: “If this is a genuine ceasefire, then of course that would be welcome. But what matters most of all is actually actions on the ground rather than just words on a piece of paper”.

Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said the partial cancellation of sanctions will be considered if the Minsk agreements begin to be fulfilled.

“There are no talks about further sanctions or the cancellation of the existing ones. If the Minsk agreements begin to be fulfilled, the partial cancellation of sanctions will be considered. We know that signing agreements is important, but fulfilling them is even more important”.
