At around 08:40 today, a call was received by the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center regarding an explosion at a residential house located on Umid Alakbarov Street in Baku's Yasamal district, TABIB said in response to APA's inquiry.
It was stated that an emergency medical team was dispatched to the scene.
The emergency medical team hospitalized three people (two women and one man) at the Burn Center of the Narimanov Medical Center with a diagnosis of thermal burns.
The patients, who received the necessary medical care, are continuing treatment in the intensive care unit, and their condition is assessed as serious.
Note that one more person (a woman) was injured while passing through the area where the incident occurred. The patient, who was hospitalized at the Emergency Department of the Clinical Medical Center, received the necessary medical care. She is currently continuing treatment, her condition is stable, and she is expected to be discharged for outpatient treatment.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received information about an explosion in a residential house located on Umid Alakbarov Street in Yasamal district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
Upon receiving the report, forces of the State Fire Protection Service and the Special Risk Rescue Service were immediately dispatched to the scene.
During the initial assessment of the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that an explosion accompanied by a fire had occurred on the first floor of the two-story residential house.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire was extinguished within a short time without allowing it to spread.
As a result of the fire, the combustible structures of two rooms on the first floor of the 250-square-meter house belonging to separate citizens were burned over an area of 50 square meters.
As a result of the incident, three people sustained injuries of varying severity. Rescuers recovered the body of a citizen born in 2010 and handed it over to the relevant authorities.
The relevant authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
