Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated on Wednesday in a televised appearance that the country will not be invoking NATO's Article 4, APA reports citing Teletrader.

"The course of events and the information received at night led us to the conclusion that this was not a deliberate attack on Poland. According to our information [at the moment], there was no plan to attack the territory of Poland," Morawiecki said.

Nevertheless, the Polish official stressed that it will keep Article 4 "in reserve." Morawiecki reiterated that the country continues to stay in close contact with NATO.
