The United States Embassy in Kyiv has called on US citizens in the country to “shelter in place” amid Russian missile strikes and depart Ukraine when it is “safe to do so," the US Embassy in Kyiv twitted, APA reports.
“Russia’s continued strikes in Ukraine pose a direct threat to civilians and civilian infrastructure,” the embassy tweeted.
“The Embassy urges US citizens to shelter in place and depart Ukraine now using privately available ground transportation options when it is safe to do so,” it added.
