Members of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) at the summit of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) in Ankara tried to disrupt the speech of the Russian delegation, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
During Timofeeva's speech, the Ukrainian delegation unfurled the flag of the ultra-nationalist "Right Sector" organization behind her and began chanting anti-Russian slogans.
Members of the Russian delegation attempted to prevent the actions of the Ukrainian side, and a fight broke out.
While Timofeyeva was speaking, Anna Purtova, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, left the hall. The Ukrainian delegation continued to speak until Timofeyeva finished her address.
