Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov said Kyiv will not use longer-range missiles promised by the United States to attack Russian territory, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The defense chief said Kiev intends to inform its partners when it plans on using weapons to fire on foreign land. "We only fire on Russian units on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory," he stated.

His remark came after the US acknowledged that a new rocket that would increase Ukraine's attack range was part of a $2 billion US military aid package for Kyiv.
