"Türkiye never joins unilateral sanctions, it is a basic policy of our country," said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.
He noted that Türkiye can simply join the UN sanctions.
Cavusoglu added that there should be a dialogue not only between Russia and Ukraine but also between Russia and the West.
Emphasizing the importance of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the minister noted that "it is difficult to discuss this unless a permanent ceasefire is ensured."
