Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are likely to restart "at some point," Ibrahim Kalin, spokesperson to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (center), said, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
"The question is: When we will come back to it and how much damage will have been done by then?” he told CNN. Earlier this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree proclaiming Ukraine will not negotiate with Russia while Putin remains its leader.
Kalin stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants the negotiations to result in a "new grand bargain" that would extend beyond peace talks with Ukraine. "The larger issue is really a new deal between Russia and the Western world," Kalin explained.
