“By clearing mines in the sea, and as a result, opening a safe corridor, we are trying for export of grain from Ukraine via ships to the countries in need,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
According to him, Turkiye is conducting negotiations together with the UN, Russia, and Ukraine. According to him, although competition is unacceptable in this field, everyone sees that Turkiye is a key country, and appeals to it.
He noted that on June 8, within the framework of the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to Turkiye, the opening of the corridor, the exportation of Russian and Ukrainian goods will be discussed.
