Protest action at parliament in Tbilisi ended peacefully-UPDATED

Another protest rally at the Georgian Parliament building in the center of Tbilisi ended without incident, APA reports citing TASS.

On Thursday, the fifteenth rally took place near the Georgian Parliament after the start of daily protests on November 28. The main event of the rally was the participation of MEPs who are on a visit to Tbilisi. Six members of the delegation from Lithuania, Poland, France, Germany and the Netherlands came to the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue in the evening, where the protesters were, talked with them, as well as media representatives, and then left the territory. The action was peaceful. At the moment, the protesters are leaving Rustaveli Avenue.

Another anti-government rally began at the Georgian Parliament building. The protesters blocked the roadway, APA reports citing TASS.

The number of protesters is still small, but Rustaveli Avenue has already been blocked. The protesters were joined by representatives of the IT sector, who marched to the parliament building. The action is taking place peacefully, the main stream of citizens opposing the current government is likely to gather in an hour or two, as it was in previous days.
