"What has been happening in Georgia in recent days under the guise of protests is actually a hybrid war," political scientist and director of the gruzinform.ru (saqinform.ge) portal Arno Khidyrbegishvili said, APA reports.
According to him, "Western states and President Salome Zurabishvili, who has become a tool in their hands, radical opposition parties and NGOs are behind this war."
Khidirbegishvili said that Salome Zurabishvili is confident in the West's support: "The president has asked for political asylum from Western states and the Baltic countries. The Baltic countries have already promised political asylum to Zurabishvili. Confident in this, Zurabishvili and her supporters are trying to further aggravate the situation in Georgia."
Khidirbegishvili emphasized that “the attempts of Western states, as well as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has become a puppet in their hands, will be in vain, there will be no coup d’état in Georgia.”
“The wishes of foreign agents will not come true, stability will be restored in Georgia, and the country will develop democratically,” the political scientist added.
