Number of children killed in Ukraine war reach 313

In Ukraine, 313 children have been killed and 579 more have been injured as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

"As of the morning of June 15, 2022, more than 892 children were killed or injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 313 children have been killed and 579 more have been injured," the Prosecutor General’s Office informs.

As noted, these figures are not final, as work is underway to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region – 291, Kharkiv region – 169, Kyiv region – 116, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 54, Kherson region – 52, Mykolaiv region – 48, Zaporizhzhia region – 30, Sumy region – 17.

In particular, on June 14, a baby was injured by enemy missile fragments in the town of Zolochiv, Lviv region.
