Baku-APA. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta have met in Warsaw on Thursday, APA reports.
They changed views on ways of combating economic crisis, preparations for the upcoming European Union (EU) summit on May 22, the EU 2014-2020 budget and bilateral cooperation.
Donald Tusk said in a joint press conference after the meeting that he and the Italian counterpart have agreed on ideas regarding tasks that await Italy and Poland in Europe.
Tusk noted that one of the priorities is to struggle against youth unemployment. Both parts vowed to boost employment and competitiveness.
Tusk added that talks also agreed to further the EU integration, make joint steps in promoting a common market and take actions to shore up economic growth in the EU.
