Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the negotiations on purchasing F16s from the US continue in a positive direction, Erdogan said in his interview with local journalists after his return from the US visit, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
According to him, Turkiye is still interested in purchasing F16s: “We had positive discussions with Mister Biden in this regard. I had also some meetings with Republican senators there. Our minister Hulusi Akar is also holding negotiations with his interlocutors. We hope that this positive atmosphere will continue. I think that we will get the result of this case soon.”
