"Georgia is strengthening its position in the Middle Corridor. Thanks to close contacts with our partners such as Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, existing obstacles are being identified and work is being done to eliminate them," said Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili in her speech at the panel titled "Middle Corridor: From Reliability to Efficiency" held within the framework of the V Tbilisi Silk Way Forum, APA's local bureau reports.
According to the minister, significant infrastructure projects implemented in Georgia make significant contributions to the development of the Middle Corridor.
"The modernization of railways and the construction of highways in Georgia add additional value to the Middle Corridor. The Georgian government is committed to the development of this project and attaches great importance to cooperation with partner countries in this direction," M. Kvrivishvili said.
