"Ukraine's army needs 10 times more manpower for more effective responses against Russia", APA reports citing The Wall Street Journal.

The author of the article mentions that the Ukrainian side is currently facing a personnel shortage and that the ratio of forces between the sides is 1 to 10. The article also highlights serious problems related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine: "UAVs can replace humans to some extent. At the end of last month, our correspondent met with the personnel of the UAV unit of Ukraine's 60th Mechanized Brigade. The unit commander stated that due to shortages, Russian army personnel are able to advance in certain areas by avoiding the targeting of unmanned aerial vehicles. In most cases, the Russian side detects and neutralizes UAVs. Strengthening the various flanks of the Ukrainian army is impossible due to the lack of personnel. Moreover, there is no morale among fighters aged 40-50. The main concern is the shortage of personnel."
