Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak confirmed on Saturday reports that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny met with senior NATO officials, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The meeting was held in secret eleven days ago, according to the Guardian.

Podolyak said Zaluzhny "actively communicates" with allied commanders on tactics and strategy, as well as the need for military support. The Guardian claimed that the most important issues discussed were "what to do about the halting progress of Ukraine’s counteroffensive, along with battle plans for the grueling winter ahead plus longer-term strategy as the war inevitably grinds into 2024."
