"The activity of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) should be restored," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, APA reports citing Alpha News.
He also called it unacceptable for members of the delegation of some states represented in the Council of Europe to make accusations against any state.
Péter Szijjártó stated that a number of European parliamentarians abuse their powers by displaying a biased approach toward other countries.
"In most cases, they refrain from expressing their negative opinions about this or that state in the presence of representatives of that state. Of course, it takes courage to do so. Some individuals seek to take advantage of Azerbaijan's non-participation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe is not a platform for criticism."- the end of the quote.
Note that Péter Szijjártó raised the issue of restoring the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe during the session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
