At least eight people have died and 13 others were wounded in Belgrade's municipality of Mladenovac in the night between Thursday and Friday after an attacker opened fire on a policeman and his sister using an assault rifle, APA reports citing Teletrader.

According to Serbian national broadcaster B92, the police are currently pursuing 21-year-old Uros Blazic, a son of a member of the Serbian military. This attack and a series of other smaller incidents reported throughout Thursday follow a massive shooting in an elementary school in Belgrade downtown on Wednesday in which a 13-year-old boy killed eight classmates and a security guard using a high-magazine pistol stolen from his dad.
