Georgia will send 40 additional rescuers to Turkiye, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports ciitng the Georgian Interior Ministry.
Georgian rescuers who eliminated the consequences of the earthquake in Adiyaman and rescue operations during the night saved a young under the rubble. It was noted that the additional 40 rescuers that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will send to Turkiye would also join the main group in Adiyaman.
Notably, Georgia has previously sent 60 rescuers and rescue dogs, acoustic devices, drones, and other technical means to Turkiye.
The Head of the Emergency Situations Management Service, Teimuraz Mgebrishvili, personally leads the rescue operation of Georgian rescuers.
