The explosions occurred on October 17 in the Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions in northern Ukraine, where an air raid alert had been issued earlier, APA reports ciitng Ukrainian edition of “Strana.”
The authorities in the Khmelnytskyi region also reported an explosion.
“There is information about explosions at infrastructure facilities in our region,” Governor Sergei Gamaly wrote on his Telegram channel.
Gamaly urged citizens to avoid being near such objects. The governor also pointed out that as a result of arrivals in the region, there were interruptions in the supply of electricity.
On October 17, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine. The Kyiv authorities, in particular, reported a series of explosions. The military administration of the city was notified of the strikes on critical infrastructure. The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, announced the blocking of sections of streets in the city center.
