"European Union (EU) is fully committed to contributing to sustainable peace in South Caucasus," High Representative of the EU Josep Borrell underlined on the sidelines of the Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg, APA reports.
According to him, the EU's deployment of about 40 monitoring experts on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border aims at establishment of confidence against an unstable situation in the region.
"It is another evidence of EU's full commitment to contribute to the main goal such as achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus," stressed the High Representative of the EU.
