The death toll in the attack on a busy Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg has risen to five, the state governor said, APA reports.
Saxony-Anhalt Gov. Reiner Haseloff also stated that more than 200 people in total were injured, many seriously, when a Saudi doctor intentionally drove a black BMW into the market yesterday evening.

Police in the German city of Magdeburg have so far confirmed the deaths of four people in a car-ramming attack on a Christmas market, APA reports citing Bild newspaper.
According to the law enforcement agencies, a total of 205 people suffered injuries, with 41 being in critical condition.
