The government of Great Britain updated risk register of the threats to Britain’s security, APA reports.
The related document was published on the government's website.
The register include 89 key threats, disruption to energy supplies following Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine, malicious uses of drones to disrupt transport and other critical operations, threats to undersea transatlantic telecommunications cables used for internet and communications.
According to the British authorities, the probability of the occurrence of all these threats is estimated at more than 25 percent.
Note that the risk report was first published by the British government in 2008 and the list of threats was updated for the first time since 2020.
