As of December 12, Ukraine has reported 885,039 COVID-19 cases, including 12,811 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the past 24 hours, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
"Some 12,811 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Ukraine as of December 12. In particular, among them are 593 children and 572 health workers," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that 242 patients died from COVID-19, 13,653 recovered and 3,001 were hospitalized in Ukraine over the past day.
For the entire period of the pandemic, 494,001 recoveries and 14,998 deaths have been registered in Ukraine.
