Press service of the Turkeyâ€™s President announced that President Abdullah Gul accepted Armenian President Serzh Sargsyanâ€™s invitation to watch Turkey-Armenia football match in Yerevan, APA Turkey bureau reports. It was emphasized in the announcement that this football match would create important chances. â€œWe believe in the necessity of appreciation of these chances by the two sides in the period of events concerned the Caucasian peoples. We think that this visit will create good opportunity for the friendly atmosphere in the region. The Honorable President accepted the invitation for this reason. We believe that this football match will help to eliminate obstacles on the way of approach of the two peoples which have common history. We hope that the visit will create chances for better understanding between the two peoplesâ€, said in the announcement.
