Phone number of PKK suicide bomber committed terrorist act in Turkey registered to the name of Azeri woman

Governor of Mersin Huseyin Aksoy said the identity card found on his person was forged, he would be identified by DNA testing or fingerprinting. The investigation found out that the exploded car had been bought a month before. The person, who had sold the car, told the police that a man introducing himself as Mehmet Kurtaran paid in cash and said he would register the car later. He gave a phone number to the seller.
â€œI phoned several times, but phone was not available,â€ he said.

The investigation found out that the phone number given to the owner of the car by the client had been registered to the name of Azerbaijani Samaya Mahmudova, 43, who lived in Loti Otel in Istanbul. It was also found out that Mehmet Kurtaran, 37, was arrested in 1992 for being member of PPK terrorist organization.

13 policemen were injured and the suicide bomber was killed in the aftermath of the explosion.
