Baku. Lachin Sultanova–APA. Solution to the frozen conflicts was discussed at the Russian-EU summit in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia on Friday. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at the press conference followed the meeting that his country and the European Union had same approach to the security issues and the non-violent methods of solution to the conflicts. He thinks that US idea to deploy missile defense systems in Europe was harmful and didn’t guarantee security in the region.
Russia and the European Union will sign a new basic agreement according to the reached agreement. First phase of the negotiations over the document will be held on July 4 in Brussels.
