â€œThere Is A Close Relationship Between Armenian, PKK Terrorismâ€

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek has asserted that some members of the Kurdistan Worker’s Party, or PKK, are collaborating Armenians on the grounds that some of the outlawed militia are uncircumcised, according to Turkish Daily News & Economic Review, APA reports quoting turkishny.com web-page.
The remark attracted a response from Selahattin Demirtas, leader of the pro-Kurdish peace and Democracy Party, or BDP, Saturday, when he said, "Let him be the governmental sunnetci (one who performs circumcisions)."
Cicek said Saturday during a meeting with business people in Ankara that Turkey has been dealing with terrorism for 40 years: "Ideological terrorism before 1980, left-right terrorism after 1980â€¦ Not only Armenian terrorism either... There is a close relationship between Armenian terrorism and PKK terrorism; they are blood brothers. [Armenian terrorism left] the picture and they have transferred the job to this side [of the border]. Regardless, excuse me but some of the terrorists being uncircumcised should mean a lot to you. I mean, this is not say-so or anything; we know well who is who."
Demirtas responded to Cicek’s comments Sunday in Sanliurfa, saying the first step the government should take to solve the Kurdish problem is to shut Cicek up.
Demirtas accused Cicek of downplaying "the 80-year-old Kurdish issue" to the matter of circumcirsion and argued his aim was to create confusion.
"These people do not have problems of language, culture [or] belief according to Cemil Cicek. The problem is that a few PKK members are not circumcised. If this is the problem, and in case you are willing to do it, let us assign you position of ’governmental sunnetci’ and send you to Kandil [Mountain, to the central base of the PKK]. Go and solve this problem."
