Masked men rob Swiss casino

Baku-APA. Authorities said a group of about 10 masked men armed with machine-guns and pistols stormed a Swiss casino and escaped with hundreds of thousands of dollars, APA reports quoting Upi.com web-page.
Police said the gang arrived at the Grand Casino in the city of Basle in two silver Audis bearing French license plates at about 4 a.m. and ordered the approximately 600 guests and employees to the floor, the BBC reported Monday.
The French-speaking attackers collected hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jackpot money but were unable to enter the facility’s vault, investigators said.
No serious injuries were reported, but "several guests and a member of the security staff were slightly hurt after being hit and kicked by the offenders," the Basle prosecutor’s office said.
The culprits are believed to have fled across the French border, investigators said.
