Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In April 2016, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 624,500 tonnes of oil, down 8.72% from 2015, 3.36% from March.
SOCAR produced 2,522,700 tonnes of oil in January-April, down 8.45% compared to previous year.
Note that, SOCAR produced 647,000 tonnes of oil in January, 605,000 tonnes in February and 646,200 tonnes in March.
Oil production across the country made 3,649,800 tonnes in April, up 2.24% in comparison to the same period of 2015, down 4.93% compared to March 2016.
In January-April 2016, 13,977,000 tonnes of oil overall were produced in the country, down 1.79% from previous year.
A total of 3,518,200 tonnes of oil was produced in the country in January 2016, 3,339,300 tonnes in February and 3,649,700 tonnes in March.
