SOCAR decreases gas production by 17% in December, 2014

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 595,300 cm of gas in December, 2014, down 17.2% compared to a year earlier, up 6.81% from previous month.

Gas production by the SOCAR made 691,500 cm in January, 624,500 cm in February, 680,800 cm in March, 654,900 cm in April, 608,500 cm in May, 561,200 cm in June and 575,100 cm in July, 567,500 cm in August, 551,700 cm in September, 577,800 cm in October, and 557,300 cm in November. SOCAR produced 7,246,100 cm of gas in January-December, down 0.86% in annual comparison.

In December, total gas production across the country made 2,448,000 cm, down 9.01% from previous year.

Gas production across the country made 2,690,000 cm in January, 2,393,000 cm in February, 2,594,000 cm in March, 2,622,700 cm in April, 2,649,000 cm in May, 2,442,000 in June and 2,573,600 cm in July, 2,471,000 cm in August, 2,423,300 cm in September, 2,556,000 cm in October, and 1,924,400 cm in November.

Totally, 29,787,000 cm of gas were produced in 2014 across the country, down 3.23% by contrast to a year earlier.
