Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Europe understands that it need one more gas supplier along with Russia, said the Minister of Economics of Latvia, Dana Reizniece – Ozola, APA-Economics reports quoting Latvian media.
The minister stressed that taking these into account, the European countries are interested in creation of European Energy Union: “The matter is about Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Europe should share common position in this regard”.
He also noted that Germany and Finland support creation of EEU, however, they don’t want to break relations with Russia.
According to the Minister, the EEU is more important for Latvia, as this country depends on Russia in gas import.
