Baku - APA-Economics. Georgian government hopes they will come to an agreement with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on natural gas price, said the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili while commenting on expected 20% increase of gas price to be sold to the legal entities from March 1, APA-Economics reports quoting Interfax.
“SOCAR has good will to us and partner relations. The issue should not cause a problem for population”, he said.
The deputy minister noted that relevant tariffs are defined by regulating commission.
“Financial health of energy sphere should be maintained. Of course, structure analysis of costs of energy companies will be carried out. Moreover, incurrence of gas tariffs will be researched. The decision will passed after this”, Kvirikashvili said.
