Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Energy Ministry has received no appeal to participate in a meeting among Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Iran and Armenia on creation of power network to be held in April in Tbilisi, head of Ministry’s Press Service Zamina Aliyeva told APA-Economics.
Earlier, Russian media reported that Iran and Russia are negotiating to create power network between the two countries. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said the network will pass through Azerbaijan.
Following this report, Russian state agencies said Russian, Iranian, Azerbaijani, Armenian and Georgian officials will discuss the creation of power network in April in Tbilisi.
