Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In 2014, Azerbaijan produced AZN 401.7 mln-machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars and trailers.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that machinery and equipment production dropped 10.2%, cars and trailers rose 58.2%, transport facilities soared 3.4 times.
Azerbaijan produced 1,861 vehicles, up 4.4 times by contrast to a year earlier. Finished products stood at 304 units.
284 trucks were produced in the country during the same period, up 15.4% compared to a year earlier.
At the same time, tractor production rose 71.2 to 1,265, plow rose 33.4% to 942.
