Azerbaijan gets 2% decline in crude oil production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. The production in mining sector of the industry accounted for AZN 22.0 bln in 2014, down 2.3% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee says the crude oil production (including gas condensate) made 42,041,800 tonnes, down 3.2% in annual comparison. Consequently, as of January 1, 2015, finished products made 187,600 tonnes.

Of this, 41,892,900 tonnes made marketable oil, down 2.8% by contrast to a year earlier.

Processing enterprises and individual entrepreneurs (including household industrial production) produced AZN 542.5 mln-products (down 1.7%) and rendered services.

Marketable gas production rose 0.7% to 29,418.3 mln cm. Finished product stood at 265.2 mcm. Of this, 18,728.7 mcm is marketable gas, up 4.9% from previous year.
