Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan are starting work on the construction of a green energy transmission line across the Caspian Sea, said Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his speech at the "Central Asia-European Union" summit held in Samarkand, APA-Economics reports citing Akorda website.

"Kazakhstan is implementing projects in the field of renewable energy and clean fuels. We are increasing the power of wind and solar energy, and we are also preparing projects for the production of green hydrogen in cooperation with our long-term partners, such as Total, Eni, Svevind, and other European companies. Additionally, Kazakhstan, together with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, is starting work on a large-scale project for the construction of a green energy transmission line across the Caspian Sea, with additional access to European markets," he noted.
