In the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan exported gold worth USD 40.2 million, which is 5.9 times higher compared to the same period last year, APA-Economics reports, citing "Export Review" for March, prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the data, in the same period last year, the figure was 6.8 million dollars.
It should be noted that last year, Azerbaijan exported gold worth USD 211.8 million, which is an increase of 74.3% year-on-year.
