Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey will sign Power Bridge project

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Representatives from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey will come together in Tbilisi on April 8 to sign an agreement for the proposed Power Bridge Project which aims to connect power grids of the three countries.
The document will be signed senior officers of Georgian State Electricity System, AzerEnerji and Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation.
From the Azerbaijani side, AzerEnerji Vice-President Marlen Asgerov will attend the signing ceremony.
Under the project, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey will form a single regional model of high-voltage network. Along with this, the working group will examine the current status of networks in each country to define the amount of investment required for the project.
The project is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
