The conference regularly attracts in excess of 500 senior representatives of the oil and gas industry and official delegations are expected to attend this year’s event from: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, OPEC, the European Commission and the USA, the UK, France, Iran, Bulgaria, Austria, Romania and Hungary amongst others.
Azerbaijan will not send an official delegation to the event, said the country’s ministry of industry and energy.
Since its launch, TUROGE has become the key event for the oil and gas industry in Turkey, bringing together representatives from major companies and associations in a country that is strategically important. As an energy transit route, Turkey links the major oil and gas producing regions that lie north and east of the country and the extensive consumer market to the west and south. TUROGE consists of a conference and co-located exhibition showcase, providing an insight into current trends, and access to available technologies and opportunities that exist in this dynamic market.
The co-located exhibition showcase provides an opportunity to find out about products and services available on the Turkish oil and gas market, including exploration & development projects, seismic data acquisition, reactors, heaters & turbines and electrical equipment. Last year, the showcase featured 110 exhibitors from 24 countries and attracted more than 3,500 attendees.
