Presidents of Israel and Uzbekistan congratulate Ilham Aliyev

Shimon Peres congratulated the Head of State on his victory in the elections and wished success in his presidency.

The Head of State thanked the Israeli President for his attention and congratulation.

The presidents exchanged views on various aspects of the relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov also congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his reelection as President of Azerbaijan.

“I’m sure that traditional friendship ties between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, mutually beneficial cooperation will further consistently and comprehensively strengthen for the sake of the interests of the fraternal people”, Karimov stressed.

Chairman of the committee for soldiers-internationalists under the Council of the Heads of Government of the CIS, Hero of the Soviet Union Ruslan Aushev also congratulated the Azerbaijani President.
