Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. Those who are developing the program of the PACE co-rapporteurs' next visit offered the leaders of Musavat Party and other opposition parties to meet with co-rapporteurs Pedro Agramunt and Joseph Debono Grech to Azerbaijan.
Musavat Party told APA that it considers meeting with the aforementioned co-rapporteurs inexpedient as they were indifferent to the fact that the Azerbaijani authorities didn’t fulfill their commitments to the Council of Europe, the suppression of democracy and freedom in the country, especially for their wrong opinions reiterating the position of the government on elections and political prisoners.
The party’s statement says that Musavat Party can reconsider its decision after the PACE co-rapporteurs take position reflecting the truth.
