MP Jeyhun Osmanli submits Khadija Ismayilâ€™s audio records to Prosecutorâ€™s Office

Baku. Fuad Jafarov-APA. Jeyhun Osmanli has written about this case on his Facebook account, APA reports.

On his page, Jeyhun Osmanli notes that he has submitted his personal mobile phone, which contained audio record of Khadija Ismayil’s meeting at the Art Garden Restaurant.

“Journalist Khadija Ismayil recalled my name on her “Facebook” account once again, when I was on a visit to Belgium. Today I submitted my personal telephone that contained audio record of Khadija Ismayil’s meeting at the Art Garden Restaurant, to the Prosecutor General’s Office. That meeting is very familiar to her, but others know little about it. I want everyone knows that Khadija Ismayil was speaking loudly,” writes Jeyhun Osmanli on his Facebook account. Then MP finishes his words, with last sentence, which reads “A treachery to the Motherland is unforgivable”. Later he has confirmed to APA that he wrote such a status.

Recently there have been reports saying that journalist Khadija Ismayil had been preparing a report for the U.S. intelligence, which was given Americans at Art Garden Restaurant. MP Jeyhun Osmanli was at the restaurant at that time.

The report says that several oppositional politicians, journalists and public activists are allegedly controlled by the government.
