APA reports that Deputy Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), MP Siyavush Novruzov said the requirements of this law have recently been seriously violated.
He noted that the opposition was complaining about the lack of place for holding rally: “The place close to the city has already been allocated for the rally and they can hold a protest whenever they want: “However, it seems that they aim not to hold a rally, but to stir up panic, conflict. As, they always violate the law "on freedom of assembly, insult the identities, make slanderous and fictitious challenges. It means that their actions aim at stirring up conflict. Therefore, we should reconsider the requirements of the law "On freedom of assembly" to prevent it.”
