Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. “I witnessed transparent, professional elections on October 9. The election process was in accordance with the international standards”, said the member of the UK House of Lords Michael German at the press conference on results of observations in the elections.
M. German said he was invited to Azerbaijan by the parliament and observed the voting process in 2 districts of Baku and monitored vote counting at a polling station. Lord noted that though there were small technical errors, they don’t affect the results: “I invite the Azerbaijani authorities to keep television open for debates after elections”.
Lord German congratulated the Azerbaijani authorities on the victory in the elections.
