Baku – APA. The Leki-Piraza-Khinakhli highway has today been opened in Aghdash.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Leki-Piraza-Khinakhli highway, APA reported.
The Head of State reviewed the stand describing the technical parameters of the highway. It was noted that the reconstruction of the 34-km highway began in June 2013. The Leki-Piraza-Khinakhli highway will connect 11 settlements, and serve over 20,000 people.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening, then drove a car on the new highway.
President Ilham Aliyev also met with local residents.
